Greg Arce Opens Show in Santa Monica
The following is a newspaper review of a show entitled "The Inner
Walnut". Our friend and former Ring member, Greg Arce wrote, produces and
stars in this show. If you plan on being in Santa Monica at the end of
August, stop by and check it out.
Back in the 1970's, Israeli
psychic Uri Geller was a regular on the TV talk show circuit, making
appearances on The Mike Douglas Show, The Merv Griffith Show, The Tomorrow
Show, etc., doing such psychic stuff from bending spoons using his mind
power to 'fixing' broken
watches (again, using his mind to do such.) Greg Arce, appearing in a show
he calls THE INNER WALNUT, is reminiscent to Geller's antics.
Though he claims he's not a
psychic, Greg calls himself a 'Paranormalist'. That is, somebody who's just
as normal as anyone else, but knows how the human brain works and can
harness the power that such an 'inner walnut' holds. Using a number of
props and devices, he shows the audience in attendance with their
participation that he could calculate numbers based on preselected chance,
feel people's emotions via card signs that they pick from a pile, and more
stuff that ranges
from jaw-dropping amazing for totally scary! Greg knows what he is doing,
and he does it well!
Don't get his show confused
from watching those hack magicians that used to litter the stage of The Ed
Sullivan Show way back when! Greg does some rather dangerous physic
experiments.
It's not known if such experiences have gone wrong (yet), but it's just as
well that this reviewer doesn't know!
Greg Arce is one of a handful of such 'Paramormalists' out there, assuming
that there are any out there! He's one show that is better than a
vaudeville act, and even holds a sense of comedy! Of course, don't try
these stunts at home folks! Leave it to the experts in the field!
Just let THE INNER WALNUT do its thing!
